When I Fell, I Fell Hard!

Nothing Ahead

I fell in love with words because I was suffocating
My raging heart could let loose
All the complexity of feeling, thinking, wondering
I fell in love because my throat would swallow my voice
I saw faster than I could speak, and I saw a lot
People and being misunderstood, remain a common feature
With age. I've stopped trying to be gotten
Laying it all out between the lines
