For many years now, Lesotho has been patiently waiting at the doorstep, yearning for the development of its own cinema. Currently, there is a lack of infrastructure and resources in the country to support the growth of this industry. However, this initiative aims to change that by laying a strong foundation for the future of cinema in Lesotho.

To achieve this, we plan to empower the next generation of filmmakers by providing them with the necessary training and resources. Through a series of workshops conducted at the grassroots level, we will nurture and cultivate young talents who will serve as the driving force behind the growth of cinema in Lesotho. Additionally, we will establish dedicated spaces equipped with essential filmmaking equipment to support their creative endeavours.

At the end of each workshop cycle, these aspiring filmmakers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents by producing a promising piece of cinema. This not only provides them with a platform to express their creativity but also acts as a stepping stone towards a thriving film industry in Lesotho.
